Carpool Guidelines

2025-2026 Parking and Carpool Guidelines

Please note that our parking lot is small and cannot accommodate all of our visitors, especially on
days when big events happen at school. When all spaces are full, we ask that you park along
Peachtree Battle Ave. We ask that you follow these guidelines when using our parking lot or
carpool lanes.

  • Do BE considerate of others, including our Peachtree Battle neighbors.
  • Do NOT park directly in front of the school on Peachtree Battle Ave.
  • Do NOT park in the turning lane immediately prior to the bus lane.
  • Do NOT block driveways (even a little bit or just for a few minutes).
  • Do NOT park within 15-ft of a fire hydrant.
  • Do NOT park in an undesignated spot or behind other parked cars in the main parking lot.
  • Do NOT park in a handicapped spot unless you have a legal handicapped tag.
  • Do NOT park in the bus lane.
  • Do NOT park along the curb either in the parking lot or in the bus lane.
  • Do NOT use your cell phone near the school. Be alert!

These rules apply EVERY DAY, but especially during big events. Allow extra time to park and
walk to the school.

Additional Carpool Guidelines :

  • Morning Drop-off is ONE LANE ONLY.
  • Afternoon Pick-up will utilize TWO LANES.
  • Please do not pull into the middle lane of parking spaces to drop-off your students. The exceptions to this rule are for our Special Needs students with prior permission from the administration.
  • NEVER drop students off from Peachtree Battle Ave. This is a travel lane and unsafe for dropping off children.
  • Morning Carpool closes at 7:45 am. After this time, your child will be marked tardy and an office member will meet you outside. Please do not drive off until you have made contact with thisperson.
  • Afternoon Carpool begins at 2:15 pm.
  • Every family will receive a carpool number with two hang tags. This tag should be displayed from the rearview mirror for afternoon carpool. Parents who pick up their children from the front door as walkers should also bring this tag with them to the front door. We cannot release children to adults without a hang tag that displays the carpool number.
